We all sing our own song.
Whether it be a song sung without words
Or spoken word poetry set into motion,
Touching our hearts and breathing open our minds.
When emotions run uncomfortably high,
(we are human, afterall)
The music is the thing that fans the fire
Putting it out calms us,
Yet fueling it intensifies us.
We, as a race, enjoy the wild mysteries of excitement.
And relish the rarity of calm in this oft-fast paced life.
A state of constant both is rare,
But acheived by few...
Even in our darkest moments, we still find time to wear a symbol of gratitude,
A, "Thanks for the memories" to put it that way.
A silent thought in the back of your mind as the melodious sound of a twelve-string acoustic echoes around the room, played by a man who's seen that the beauty of the world uninhabited outweighs all the misfortunes that befall him.
When he sings his song, his lips never move, his fingers tell the story.
Tells the tale of "Never fear, for I am here."
Face the coming wind, turn a blind eye to your past.
Pay attention to the bridges you cross.
Take nothing but pictures,
And leave nothing but footprints in the sands of time.
We all have a right to be here, whether it is obvious to you or not.
We all, though it sounds preachy, have a reason to exist.
Most have not found their calling
Those that have choose to ignore it.
Those that do not ignore it are still lost,
Those that are not lost are the ones who light the way.
Whether you like it or not, your calling is clear
And with every passing moment on this Earth,
in this solar system,
in this universe,
Your time draws to a close.
But with every close, comes an open.
Eternity within eternity.
A circle never ends
We have a right to be here.
We are all taking part in some timeless, ageless story.
Should you accept your fate, know and accept also that you are allowed to be.
Destined to be, I should say.
When your time comes, you will face the one you've come to call God
And ask the eternal question you've been pondering since the moment of creation;
"Why do I exist?"
And in this awesome presence, He will reveal that you are always, and will continue to be.
We are all, in perfect unison, drawing this saga of "Life" to a close.
Yet the life will never end, it goes on.
If all of us were to realize that life doesn't end,
The Earth would harmonize herself.
World peace would be acheived.
It's a long road to travel,
Fear not,
I am with you, in spirit.
Know this, and you will understand true happiness
